What it is

A medical programme for rosacea, acne, melasma and stubborn pigmentation that looks at internal health as well as the skin's surface. Skinfresh takes a holistic approach, starting with digestion, gut health and nutrition before adding clinic-based treatments, on the understanding that these conditions are difficult to manage by surface treatment alone. Active acne is approached from internal health first; acne scarring can be treated with needling using Dermapen4, Laser Genesis, Exion Fractional RF and the Vampire Facial Plus, which works with any skin type.

Who it suits

For adults living with rosacea's facial redness, with active or hormonal acne, with acne scarring, or with melasma and stubborn brown pigmentation, who want to address triggers as well as appearance.

Benefits and results

  • Addresses triggers and internal health, not just the surface
  • Active acne helped from the inside: digestion, gut health, hormones and nutrition
  • Acne scarring treated with Dermapen4 needling, Laser Genesis, Exion Fractional RF and Vampire Facial Plus, which works with any skin type
  • An individualised combination of light-based and other treatments
  • Guidance on diet, gut health, supplementation and skincare

What to expect

You begin with a nurse consultation that may include a Visia skin analysis, blood tests, and dietary, nutritional and skincare advice. If still needed, an individualised combination of light-based treatments is recommended to support your skin further.

Common questions

Why start with internal health?+

Because rosacea and pigmentation are influenced by diet, gut health and triggers, addressing these first gives any clinic treatments the best chance to work.

What can trigger rosacea?+

Common triggers include sun exposure, alcohol, spicy foods, caffeine, stress and strenuous exercise. Reducing these helps keep the condition under control.
