Plasma Eye Lift BT Surgical uses advanced atmospheric pressure plasma technology to safely, accurately and superficially treat the skin. This treatment also helps areas of the face, around the eyes and on the body.
Plasma is one of the four fundamental states of matter. The Plasma BT Surgical™ turns the gases in the air into an ionized gas consisting of positive ions and free electrons.
Plasma works in an extremely localised and safe manner, to stimulate the skin. There is immediate tightening. As the skin heals it develops first type 3 collagen and later type 1 collagen. The result is thicker, tightened and more youthful skin.
A non - invasive eyelid procedure without any surgical incision, no hospital stay and no general anaesthetic.
A few advantages of this treatment include:
Once you have decided to go ahead with a Plasma BT Surgical treatment, here are some suggestions about how to get through it well, and recover quickly afterwards.
Book your treatment for the first part of your menstrual cycle. Some women may feel discomfort more and have lower emotional reserve during their premenstrual time.
Enjoy satisfying results for various areas of concern around eyes, face and body without surgery and without undertaking ablative laser procedures.
Plasma BT surgical treatment treat problems, such as:
A powerful local anaesthetic cream is applied and other support measures are available. Most people tolerate the 10-minute procedure very well and rate the pain at 1-3 out of 10.
Is there any recovery time?
There is more recovery time for the face, neck and eyes – see Plasma Eye Lift™. Body treatments are less challenging if the area is to be covered, e.g. umbilicus.
How many Plasma BT Surgical treatments are needed?
A result is seen immediately. For long-lasting results, 3 treatments are recommended, several weeks apart - it takes time for the collagen to fully remodel.
Can it treat acne scars?
Yes. This treatment can be part of a full acne scar reduction programme. This treatment may reduce the need for a procedure called Subscision whereby a needle would be placed under the skin to cut tethered scar tissue.
What about upper lip lines?
Plasma BT surgical™ can be a very satisfying treatment for these irritating upper lip lines. A fractionated or ablative laser would be associated with 1-3 weeks downtime. Instead, this procedure can be performed under a numbing injection and carries with it a few days of social downtime, due to spots on the skin.
What about other scars?
Around the umbilicus, crows feet, and other facial or body scars. Skin tags and sun damage spots.
What's the down-time like?
As mentioned earlier, this treatment carries some down-time. If your eyes have been treated, there is likely to be swelling for 2-3 days which can be managed by medication. There is usually no bruising. The 'brown dots' fall off at 5-7 days. If your job or activities are appearance sensitive, then you will need 5-6 days off work.
