Exciting new applications
for our Laser Genesis
rejuvenation treatment
Laser Genesis is now being used to treat the dark cirlces under the eyes. The Laser Genesis rejuvenates and thickens the collagen in this area so the darkness dissappears.
Another application for Laser Genesis is around the mouth area for the perioral lines. For those who have a dislike of needles and avoid dermal fillers for the perioral lines can now achieve great results with this painless light laser therapy!
We have also used Laser Genesis to help in the healing of wounds. Laser genesis stimulates the immune system and increases the energy in the skin cells – this means that the skin can do its job more efficiently.

Exciting Treatment Combinations
Because of the diversity of the types of laser treatments we have with our Xeo Cutera machine, we are able to use several different treatment modalities to enhance the results of your laser therapies.
An example of this is to combine Laser Genesis and Limelight (intense pulse light or IPL) to enhance the treatment effect of rosacea, collagen production, large pores and skin rejuvenation.
Now with our 10% off laser special, it is a great time to come and see Dr Frances Pitsilis or one of our nurses to have your own personalised laser rejuvenation programme designed specifically for you.

Microdermabrasion & Laser Genesis - Great for Scars, Texture and Collagen Production
Microdermabrasion not only exfoliates the skin’s surface, but the vaccum is important in stimulating blood flow. In turn, this causes migration of collagen producing cells to the area with the result being increased collagen, shrinkage of pores, scars and a general rejuvenation. This treatment can be used on any skin colour, and is especially effective in sundamaged skin.
To get an even better result add several Laser Genesis treatments to your Microdermabrasion treatments. Laser Genesis works at a deeper level and also stimulates collagen production. Both of these treatments can be used on any skin colour, are painless, and have no down time – fantastic!

Smart Sun Safety
Most of the population is now deficient in Vitamin D because we have taken the avoidance of the sun too far.
Of course we don’t want you to get sun burnt and in particular we want you to keep the sun off your face but a little bit of sun on your body is good for you because Vitamin D is important for every single cell in the body. It reduces cancer, improves blood pressure and can even help you lose weight!
In summer it is wise to avoid strong sun especially between the hours of 11am and 3pm. When out in the sun wear sunblock and where possible cover up.
Remember you can get burnt even on a cloudy day. Apply sunblock every morning to your face and if out in the sun re-apply often all over the body – it’s not just the SPF rating that’s important, you must also apply sunblock frequently.
